About the Journal

Annals of Curiosity in Scholarly Communication (ACSC) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by Annals of Curiosity(AOC). The journal provides a platform for communicating, discussing, disseminating, and preserving academic knowledge across medicine, health sciences, education, research methodology, and related disciplines.

ACSC welcomes diverse forms of scholarly contributions beyond conventional original research articles. These include case discussions, problem-based learning (PBL) cases, conference abstracts, conference proceedings, literature reviews, evidence summaries, research protocols, methodological contributions, commentaries, perspectives, correspondence, educational resources, research and publication ethics, bibliometric and scientometric studies, academic writing, and contributions addressing emerging developments in scholarly communication.

The journal particularly encourages contributions that promote critical thinking, academic discussion, knowledge sharing, research dissemination, and the translation of scholarly knowledge into meaningful educational and professional practice.

Peer Review: Submissions are evaluated through an appropriate editorial and peer-review process according to the type and nature of the contribution. The journal is committed to maintaining academic quality, integrity, transparency, and fairness throughout the publication process.

Publication Ethics: ACSC is committed to maintaining high standards of research and publication integrity. Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to adhere to principles of responsible authorship, transparency, originality, appropriate citation, conflict-of-interest disclosure, and ethical scholarly conduct.

Copyright and Access: Copyright and access conditions are specified for each published contribution. The journal may operate under a subscription/closed-access model, with access to published content subject to the journal's applicable access policies.

Privacy: Information collected through the journal's submission and registration systems is used for the purposes of manuscript processing, peer review, publication, communication, and journal administration and is handled in accordance with the journal's privacy policy.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

Annals of Curiosity in Scholarly Communication (ACSC) does not charge any publication or page fees upon acceptance or release of an article.

To support the editorial workflow, administrative evaluation, similarity checks, and processing of submissions, ACSC levies a mandatory, non-refundable Article Processing Fee (APC) at the submission stage:

  • National Submissions (Pakistan): PKR 11,500

  • International Submissions: USD 73.25

Note on Non-Refundability: The Article Processing Fee covers the cost of preliminary editorial assessment and workflow management. Payment of the fee does not guarantee editorial acceptance or peer-reviewed publication. The fee is non-refundable regardless of the final editorial decision (including rejection or withdrawal).
